The football coach fanfiction theatre you never knew you NEEDED in your life….

Jim & John Harbaugh’s Self-Discovery Superbowl is the theater football fanfic that you’ve been waiting for. Play witness to the inward collapse of masculinity and the blossoming of steamy brotherly love.

February 3, 2013…For the first time in Super Bowl history, the game featured two brothers coaching against each other—Jim and John Harbaugh, head coaches of the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens, respectively—earning it the nickname Harbaugh Bowl or The Harbowl.  This is the story behind the game…a retelling where your favorite fraternal football stars wrestle with their masculine inhibitions!

Then stick around for a performance by Philadelphia performance artist Little Weiner.

Laura Weiner is a Philadelphia-based performance artist, curator, and professional barking dog. They earned their Bachelor of Fine Art in Interdisciplinary Sculpture and Printmaking from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2016. Their performances involve the cultivation of eccentric characters which engage with “the public” on various platforms; through social media, interpersonal engagement, public spectacle, and in formal gallery spaces. They make work about corruption, intersectional failure, power play, and puppies. They are heavily inspired by the research of psychologist, Dr. Jennifer Freyd, who coined the phenomenon of institutional betrayal. Notable projects include The Student Lounge at Maryland Art Place (2016), the Labbodies Performance Art Retrospective in Baltimore, MD (2016) and the Transmodern Performance Festival at Baltimore’s Peale Museum (2016).
