 Lady Laughs Philly is the city’s only monthly comedy show that features all women and queer comics. Our open mic welcomes anyone and everyone, however our open mics center women and queer comics. We hope you’ll join us!

Queer Life Drawing // August 2025

Join us for an afternoon of lifting up queer bodies with an opportunity to draw with a live model and build community. We will do a structured schedule with gesture drawings in the beginning and moving into longer poses as time goes on. This is not a queer only event but it is a queer space and we do seek to highlight queer trans poc and fat bodies! These ticket sales will be matched dollar for dollar and then donated to a mutual aid organization in Philadelphia. Bring your favorite mediums and surfaces to work on and we’ll see you there!!

Big Gay Writing Project: Open Mic Night // July 2025

Write things (beforehand)! Read them! Meet people! Join The Big Gay Writing Project for an open mic night and mixer. Come read something you wrote, sing a song, tell a joke. Or, just watch and support! Open Mic night will be from 6-8pm with a sign up sheet at the door, followed by karaoke and a general time to party and mingle until 10pm. This event is free, with a $5 suggested donation.
