Over the course of 184 drawings, 5 months, and 5 presentations Teddy Hanson discovered how drawing a moustache, a foot, a cat, a saxophone, and a line can lead a person to ponder the very nature of their existence. Join him as he recounts that metaphysical journey in his multimedia performance, Teddy’s 101.

Join us for a night to celebrate COLLIDE’s third issue at Tattooed Mom’s on South Street. Enjoy great food and cocktails in the upstairs area of the bar. The first and second rooms will have spaces for artists to hang originals, prints, or have tables of work n display for people to engage with and purchase.

Long Story Long is a FREE STORYTELLING COMEDY SHOW. All the excruciating details you didn’t know you needed from some of the best comics in Philly. Like that one time that I found a loose fire hydrant on the street and my friend and I carried it back to my garage and it stayed there for months because I didn’t know what to do with it until I eventually buried it in my backyard like a dead body so the government wouldn’t find out.

Machiniac: A Play About Cybernetics + Awkwardly Unsuccessful Romance At The End Of The World
Stranded on a brick roof in Providence RI, an unlikely duo pass post-apocalyptic hours encountering memories that may or may not have happened or are not happening as they succumb to the temptations of biohazardous mechanical bionic unification. In the existential, dialogic tradition of Waiting for Godot, Machiniac is a play about cybernetics and awkwardly unsuccessful romance at the end of the world.
The cast includes An Talatinian, Lids Bierenday, and Ellen Zahniser. Tech crew includes Sam M-H and Addie Boyd. The play runs about 1 hour 10 mins with no intermission. Content warning for self harm, psychosis, descriptions of body horror, and partial nudity.

Recently voted “Best Comedy Night” by Philly Mag, Next In Line Comedy is a Philadelphia-based comedy collective run by comedians Manny Brown and Tyler Wolf. The group has also been featured in PhillyVoice and Thrillist.
Next In Line is now bringing the dopest comedy showcase in town to Tattooed Mom’s on Wednesday, May 10th at 8pm (Doors at 7pm) and it’s Free.99!
The show gives quickly rising comedians, who are ‘next in line,’ a space to work on their acts while providing Philly audiences a chance to watch incredible stand-up comedy at a low price, in this case for FREE. Shows have featured top comics from NYC, LA, Philly, and beyond, with credits from Comedy Central, Netflix, HBO, MTV, and more!
