Journaling Workshop with Esse

Learn the benefits and basics of building a journaling routine with the radically empowering american abolitionist philosopher, @esse.kaye!

 

Have you ever wanted to keep a journal, but didn’t know where to start?

Do you struggle with confidence, inspiration, or perfectionism?

In this session, you’ll learn the benefits and basics of building a journaling routine. Through a mix of techniques including freeform, mind-mapping, and bullet journaling, this class will encourage you to trust yourself, bring your goals into focus, and develop your own unique style. Learn to challenge your inner critic and find your voice.

This workshop is about 90 minutes to two hours. Attendees are heavily encouraged to bring a journal or notebook and a writing utensil, but it’s not required. Suggested donation for the event is $10, but NOTAFLOF.

Queer Life Drawing // March 2026

Join us for an afternoon of lifting up queer bodies with an opportunity to draw with a live model and build community. We will do a structured schedule with gesture drawings in the beginning and moving into longer poses as time goes on. This is not a queer only event but it is a queer space and we do seek to highlight queer trans poc and fat bodies! These ticket sales will be matched dollar for dollar and then donated to a mutual aid organization in Philadelphia.  Bring your favorite mediums and surfaces to work on and we’ll see you there!!

Get ready, Philly! Collage Jawn Returns with Viv for our first Collide event of the new year!

Come hang out, make a mess, be a feral art-making wizard with us at our favorite local bar!

🎨✂️ Introducing the THIRD edition of Collage Jawn: A Collage Social @ Tattooed Mom! 🖍📚 and the first Collide Zine event of 2026!

Join us for a night of creativity, connection, and chaos (the fun kind) on Monday, February 2nd, from 6-9PM at your favorite local dive bar.

Whether you’re an artist, poet, zine-maker, or just collage-curious, this is your chance to cut loose—literally.

Bring your own scissors, glue sticks, magazines, or any collage-worthy scraps to use and trade, OR donate $5-$10 to our host artist, Viv Verducci (@lentilsouplover) as they guide you through wordsmithing collage slapping tips and tricks!

We’ll have tables set up and plenty of room for folks to mingle and spread out to create solo or collaborate!

This is a drop-in, no-pressure event: come solo or with friends, stay for ten minutes or all night. No experience needed—just bring your imagination and let the scraps guide you.

✏️ Poets and wordsmiths welcome too—cut up your old lines or find new ones in a pile of forgotten pages.

Let’s make a mess together.

The Craft Collective Collage Kickoff: Eagles Edition

Bring all your Eagles junk — we’re putting it on paper, baby! 💚 It’s always GO BIRDS!

Join The Craft Collective, a BIPOC craft club where creativity meets community. This is a safe space to unwind, be yourself, and connect — no code switch needed. We’re here to craft, vibe, and build together.

We’ll have Eagles-themed stickers, pictures, football-inspired backgrounds, and cardstock for you to make your own Eagles journal spread or collage masterpiece.
