“Hot Takes” Open Mic

Have you ever sauntered into Tattooed Mom and thought: “wow, I wish I could get everyone in this rooms take on something that is happening to me / happened to me / is probably going to happen soon” ?

Well now is your chance.

Introducing “hot takes” open mic. Informal, no preparation required, you don’t even have to write anything down. Come tell a story, share an anecdote, a tale, something wild you once saw on the septa bus. Get the public’s take on a matter. She’s chatty, she’s casual, she’s informal, no experience preferred. Sign ups at the door, free tickets on Eventbrite.

A Show of Hope: A Night of LGBT+ Storytelling

Join us for Philly Voices for Equality – a fun, heartfelt night of LGBT+ storytelling right here in Philly! This is an in-person event where you’ll hear amazing stories that celebrate community, courage, and pride. The theme of this month is hope. We will hear stories of who and what inspires us, stories of perseverance, and moments of queer joy. Come connect, laugh, and be inspired by voices that uplift and empower. The show is free, and open to anyone over age 21 with a valid ID. Guests may begin to check-in at 7:00pm, and the show will begin promptly at 7:30pm. Cast list to be announced soon.
