Journaling Workshop with Esse

Learn the benefits and basics of building a journaling routine with the radically empowering american abolitionist philosopher, @esse.kaye!

 

Have you ever wanted to keep a journal, but didn’t know where to start?

Do you struggle with confidence, inspiration, or perfectionism?

In this session, you’ll learn the benefits and basics of building a journaling routine. Through a mix of techniques including freeform, mind-mapping, and bullet journaling, this class will encourage you to trust yourself, bring your goals into focus, and develop your own unique style. Learn to challenge your inner critic and find your voice.

This workshop is about 90 minutes to two hours. Attendees are heavily encouraged to bring a journal or notebook and a writing utensil, but it’s not required. Suggested donation for the event is $10, but NOTAFLOF.

Collide Zine Issue 12 Launch Party & Open Mic

Join us for our long awaited debut of Collide Zine Issue 12 on March 3rd at our favorite community bar and art haven, Tattooed Mom!

Starting at 6pm, the upstairs front room will be open for shopping a select 10 local artist and maker’s wares–make friends with our thriving artist family and see what our zine is all about!

To pick up your pre orders of the issue or buy yours hot off the press, slide down to the back room of the upstairs bar, where we’ll be running an open mic for poetry, short stories, and comedy (you name it, anything goes!) from 6:30 to 9pm. We’ll be giving away RAFFLE PRIZES to anyone who performs on the mic–so get your name on the list early! Spots fill up quickly.

Everyone is a winner at this event–enjoy free art and tickets to upcoming art events from our local business partners <3

Collide = community.

Collide Zine Issue 9 Release Party & Open Mic

Collide Zine (@collidezinephilly) takes over upstairs at TMOMS on Sunday, March 2nd, from 6-9PM for an unforgettable night of open mic performances and art vendors to celebrate the release of their newest Issue, No. 9!

🌱What’s Happening:

  • Zine Release: Grab your copy of Collide before it hits shelves anywhere else. Hot off the press!

  • Open Mic: Share your poetry, prose, or music—sign-ups open at 6, performances start 6:30. Prizes will be given out to our top performers!

  • Local Vendors: Between open mic sets, shop local art vendors in the front room and mingle with friends! Grab a drink at the bar and enjoy delicious vegan food and snacks!
