PBMA Winter Bike Formal
Time to get all dressed up and dance the night away…Philadelphia Bicycle Messenger Association is hosting the annual Winter Bike Formal!
Proceeds from the door and the 50/50 cash raffle will go towards the North American Cycle Courier Championships, hosted by Milwaukee this year.

The short but sweet month of February brings a rare double header to Craft Sundays at Mom’s. First you’ll have a chance to take the humble coaster, the place to set down the beverage of your choice, and turn it into a mini masterpiece of artistic expression. Second, take that vessel of fun juice, the might pint glass and customize it as your own. Make your own drink coaster or pint glass at our creatively quenching craft table while enjoying our awesome weekend brunch menu, $3 draft pick (from 3-5pm), or half priced drafts (from 5-7 & 10-11pm). An evening of new works including: painting, photography, theater, dance, performance art, comedy, story-telling, poetry, prose, sculpture, ballet, film, stand-up, ANY and ALL art will be presented! Whether you’ve performed before or not, ‘professional’ or ‘amateur’, YOU CAN’T FAIL! Art presented at this event may be in-progress, a new idea, a favorite poem, a bedtime story, etc.

Cinema Ray will be screening John Waters’ trashy Baltimore classic Female Trouble starring Divine, Edith Massey, and Mink Stole. There are two screenings this month, 7:30 and 9:30.
Elizabeth Coffey Williams, one of John Waters Dreamlanders and Divine’ s prison lover in Female Trouble, will be introducing both shows.
Seating is limited, so be sure to reserve your seat on their facebook event page and be there at least a half hour before your screening. Tickets not claimed by 7:15/9:15 will be sold to those who show up without an RSVP.
$4 gets you a night of delicious depravity tackling the myth of the ordinary and beautiful.
