Sketchubator! LIVE
Philly Sketchfest and My First Sketch return to Tattooed Mom to host another live and in-person sketch comedy open mic. Comedians all over Philadelphia can sign up at sketchubator.com/signup to read and perform their sketches with the help of some of the most experienced and funniest sketch writers and performers in the area. Hosted by Josh Higham of My First Sketch, Sketchubator is a chance for the city’s sketch comedians to hang out, have a drink, eat some food, and share some laughs. Sketches, character bits, and monologues should be under five minutes with the hopefully unnecessary reminder that Philly Sketchfest will not condone hateful material.

Slurping Up That Hill: A Kate Bush Drag Tribute
Join host, Balena Canto and her cast of drag artists in a Tribute show dedicated to the one and only, Kate Bush! Her eclectic musical style, unconventional lyrics, performances, and literary themes have influenced and dazzled the hearts of millions since her debut in the late 1970’s. Wether you’re a die-hard fan or a new-comer (thank you Stranger Things), Bush’s music will leave a mark on your soul.
So spend an evening with us as you witness your favorite classics like “Wuthering Heights,” “Cloudbusting,” and (of course), “Running up that hill” come to life before your eyes. You’ll also experience some lesser known songs that you may have yet to discover! Next In Line Comedy: Free F#ckin’ Comedy Show // September 2022
Recently voted “Best Comedy Night” by Philly Mag, Next In Line Comedy is a Philadelphia-based comedy collective run by comedians Manny Brown and Tyler Wolf. The group has also been featured in PhillyVoice and Thrillist.
Next In Line is now bringing the dopest comedy showcase in town to Tattooed Mom’s on Wednesday, September 14th at 8pm (Doors at 7pm) and it’s Free.99!
The show gives quickly rising comedians, who are ‘next in line,’ a space to work on their acts while providing Philly audiences a chance to watch incredible stand-up comedy at a low price, in this case for FREE. Shows have featured top comics from NYC, LA, Philly, and beyond, with credits from Comedy Central, Netflix, HBO, MTV, and more!

20th-century fem(me)/butch lesbian bars come to life in a solo dance/theatre performance. Maggie Cee explores her years as a teenage gay rights activist, her own identity, and fem history – illuminating the feminine women whose stories are too often forgotten, but whose strength and determination paved the way for LGBTQIA+ rights decades before Stonewall.
