On The Floor Presents: Mom’s Mayhem Indie Improv Cage Match // February 2024
Indie cage match is back baby! On the Floor is hosting the hottest night of indie comedy and things are going to get ROUGH. Please join us as two of Philly’s best improv teams battle it out in a wrestling-style show and compete for the title of Mom’s Mayhem Champion. This month we have two-time champions Schmooty going up against fellow former Philly Improv Theater (PHIT) House Team Remain Dog! Oh yeahhh!!! You might even see someone get body slammed!!* Be there at 7 pm when doors open. Show starts at 7:30pm.

Recently voted “Best Comedy Night” by Philly Mag, Next In Line Comedy is a Philly-based comedy collective run by comedians Manny Brown and Tyler Wolf. The group has also been featured in Philadelphia Inquirer, Thrillist, and PhillyVoice.
Perfect for a date night or just a night out. The shows feature quickly rising comedians, who are ‘next in line,’ and gives Philly audiences a chance to watch incredible stand-up comedy at a low price (FREEEE!). Rot in the Garden of Eden
Dreamt in a field of flowers, the softness of a roses petal or the sharpness of its thorns, born to blossom and bloom to perish. The supreme of Spring embodies the birth and decay of life, love and lust. Bring the sensation of sin in your finest floral couture.
Contestants are tasked with arriving in 1 outfit fit for a performance and presentation. The outfit which fits the category the closest and impresses the judges the most wins. Participants are encouraged to incorporate the elements of their respective season into their performance.

The Competition will begin at 8pm at Tattooed Mom at 530 South St on their respective dates. The winner will receive their title and prize the night of the competition. All forms of performance artist are encouraged to apply, this is a fashion competition not a drag, burlesque, variety or sideshow competition. Only 6 applicants will be chosen for each season’s runway. If you are not chosen you will be invited to attend as a guest and considered in the event of any unexpected circumstances.

Little Tea with Camille Roberts
“Little Tea” is the story of a young queer girl living within a network of her own quiet, contrived drama. After exploring the intersection of OCD and BPD traits with gender, sexuality, and religion, this coming of age tale calls out our need to explore, identify, and label our existential angst. Through standup, childhood diary excerpts, and original music, “Little Tea” alerts you to the necessity of living as authentically as you know how in whatever moment you are in.

This show is written and performed by by Camille Roberts.
Camille is joined by her good friend and fellow queer Gabby Jordan Brown, who will open the show. Gabby is a comic, producer and podcaster. She has been featured on Amazon as well as on the festival circuit, with recent appearances at LA Comedy Festival, the LGBTLOL Fest in New Orleans, and the All Janes Festival in Portland. Gabby co-produces the show “If We Did It,” a murder-mystery comedy, as well as the courtroom themed showcase “Wait But Are You Sure?” She also is one half of Two Nosy Meerkats, a podcast with TikToker Lukas Arnold.
