Go birds, but also, go words! Philly’s first, best, and only wordplay and dad joke trivia extravaganza returns to Tattooed Mom. Bring out your team to compete for honor, glory, and prizes. Indie cage match is back baby! UpDog Productions is hosting the hottest night of indie comedy and things are going to get ROUGH. Join us as two of Philly’s best improv teams battle it out in a wrestling-style show and compete for the title of Mom’s Mayhem Champion. This month we really have something special. Returning champs DadBod will be going for their three-peat and a chance to enter the Moms Mayhem Hall of Fame! Can they take out challengers Luardo/Braslavsky and bring home the golden belt? Come on out on August 12 and see! Doors open at 7, show starts at 7:30 pm. See YOU at the ring.

Dolls on Tour
Violet Stanza and Sunny Laprade are two of the most famous gen z trans women out performing today… and they just so happen to be besties! Uniting for the variety show to end all variety shows, Dolls on Tour features equal parts gut busting comedy and heartfelt ballads and bangers. Catch them now while you still can before they’re selling out Madison Square Garden for $100 a ticket in 2045!

Lineup of Artists:
Sunny Laprade: Based in Brooklyn, Sunny Laprade is a standup comedian, writer, storyteller, and viral internet creator. With over a quarter of a million followers combined across all platforms, she is the second most followed trans woman standup comic in the world. Her first comedy special Queer Enough ran for two nights to sold out audiences before being released to the public on YouTube in 2022 and named one of 6 Queer Comedy Specials That Will Restore Your Faith in the Craft by Autostraddle. She is a staff writer for Late Stage Live and performs all over the country.
Violet Stanza: Violet Stanza is a singer/songwriter whose writing ranges from pop bangers to tender ballads. Her music has earned several accolades, winning both BroadwayWorld’s Best Original Song, and the Goethe Institut’s International Music Contest. Violet can be found performing around New York, or online where her content has amassed over 800 thousand followers across platforms. She hopes to empower other queer and trans people through her art, and make the world a prettier place along the way.
