SCRIBES ON SOUTH seeks to create community through poetry. Show out, share, and meet some new friends by sharing your work!

This reading’s featured readers are Brian Graves and Eden Vernier.

Read poems. Kick ass.

SUNDAY, MARCH 31ST
6-9PM

Prone to writing since childhood, it wasn’t until adulthood that poetry surprisingly became Brian’s medium of choice. Their work focuses on the romances of life, the weight of relationships, endlessly unraveling gender, and living in a body, often expressing these themes through symbols of nature. Brian continuously seeks vulnerability and comfort in their work and hopes that other queer and trans people of color can find that same safety in the writing.

Eden Vernier is. What else is there to say? Her interests include primal rage and the end of all things. Burn it down, baby! Eden Vernier is.
