Zine makers across Philly, come vend your little hearts out with host Megazine in the front pool table room. Make trades, meet cool artists, and have fun! Once you’ve grabbed your stash of handmade oddities, stick around for the open mic extravaganza in the back room with your other host, Collide. Open mic sign ups start at 6, and the show will start around 6:30 through 9pm.
This isn’t your average poetry reading—oh no! We’re talking about a stage where anything goes. Whether you want to recite an epic poem about the trials of finding matching socks or perform a one-person musical, this is your moment. Poets, new sh*t and old sh*t is welcome! We encourage performers to promote their other shows, Spotifys, and any other places we can follow their creative pursuits.
At the end of the night, we’ll be drawing raffle prizes for cool zines/art items from our participating vendors–be sure to buy a chance to win at the pool table before we pull them at 9:15pm!
