Characters Welcome 8: Friday, October 18th (21+)
Characters Welcome 8: An International Sticker Art Show is THE event for sticker artists to meet, exchange ideas, & leave behind tokens of their amazing art on our walls, ceilings, floors, etc! Characters Welcome celebrates that community and reaches out to artists all over the world to show their best hand drawn and printed sticker art.
This event is 21+ with valid ID. An all ages show will be on Saturday, October 19th.

All are welcome to contribute to Characters Welcome 8, & first time artists will be shown side by side with the seasoned titans. Hand drawn, printed, silk screened & collaged stickers will be part of the mix in this diverse display of sticker art media, styles and themes.

The boards with the compiled stickers, as well as surplus sticker packs, will be available for sale. We’ll also have some very special raffle items and rad day-of-show surprises. 100% of ALL sales will go to benefit the inspiring youth local arts programs at Fleisher Art Memorial and The Village of Arts & Humanities.

JERKS Productions is proud to present themed First Friday shows! These shows alternate months with the Fused Underground First Friday shows all hosted at Tattooed Mom. With the theme shows, JERKS aims to challenge artists to take a step out of their comfort zone and try a new theme to focus their work.

The “Monster Cereal” Art Show is returning to Tattooed Mom for its 6th year!
Philadelphia artist Bevan McShea creates various pieces that are inspired by his childhood love for monster cereal and monster cereal characters. Celebrate the voices of local queer and trans artists with us on Tuesday, 11/26 at Tattooed Mom! There will be food, there will be drinks, and all donations will be split between artists & The Attic Youth Center! This event is the second installation in the “What’s in a Name?” series, which is focused on centering and highlighting trans/queer artists!

Artists Against Children In Cages
On Thursday, December 5th, from 6-10 pm, the diverse work of over twenty international artists will be showcased for sale at Tattooed Mom in an event called “Artists Against Children In Cages.” All proceeds will be donated to the National Bond Fund, an organization which pays the legal fees and bail of immigrants detained by ICE. More information about the organization can be found on their website.

There will be abstract art, protest art, figurative art, as well as hand painted skateboard decks, organic lotions and beauty products from a local artisans, original paintings, acrylic pour paintings, affordable yet unique prints from artists with styles ranging from surrealistic, dark cartoons to more traditional fine art, as well as a multimedia sculpture that features an animal skull and African porcupine quills. There will be music and holiday cookies, and this event is ideal to find hand made gifts for the holidays, while knowing all funds are going to a good cause! There is no greater gift you can give another human being who is suffering this holiday season within the confines of ICE detention centers than a contribution towards their freedom and possible asylum.
