She/They: A Standup Show by Women and Queers

Shes, theys, and gays unite for an evening of comedy by and for women and queers! Join us Thursday, July 30 at Tattooed Mom to laugh and raise funds for the Lady Laughs International Comedy Festival!

 

Hosted by Prior Perry and featuring Christa Rivers, Hope Schwartz, Moira Goree, and Nicole Phoenix.

 

Tickets are PWYC, suggested donation of $15. Doors at 6:30, show at 7:30. Event space is up one flight of stairs.

 

All ticket sales and donations will go towards the Lady Laughs International Comedy Festival, happening here in Philly next month, August 18-23 at the Louis Bluver Theater at the Drake.

• Thursdays, 4-10pm | we support bad decisions but this isn’t one of them. 75¢ pierogis all day for Pierogi Thursday … with all the toppings & sauces ur heart desires + $3 cans of tecate!!!

• Daily Happy Hour | $4 drafts every day from 4-6pm, everybody cheered!

• Daily Menu | Tattooed Mom will also be serving tasty eats and ice cold drinks all evening.

• Upstairs dining, bar access, and event entry is 21+ w/ valid ID.

• Accessibility at TMoms | Due to the construction of our historical building, Tattooed Mom is only partially accessible. Our event space is on the second floor, which is only accessible via a flight of stairs (20 steps, 3 feet wide, railing on the left side only). Horror in the Arts and Womanhood Panel Discussion and Mixer

Because it’s ALWAYS spooky season for women in America, join us for a special panel discussion on horror in theatre & film and being a woman today. This panel will feature Philly locals Alyssandra Docherty (award winning Philadelphia freelance lighting designer) Christina Acevedo (founder of Girls Like Horror, an inclusive film club shining light on horror films made by women AND scary/haunting/grotesque movies with strong, complex, multidimensional female protagonists), and Priyanka Shetty (award winning actor, playwright, and director based in Philadelphia).

Be sure to come at 7pm and also stay after the discussion for time to mix and mingle, as well as experience tarot card readings from Christina Rosso-Schneider and shop spooky wares from A Novel Idea on Passyunk and local artisans.

Please note this is a 21+ event. ID is required for entrance.

This event is pay what you decide with a suggested donation price of $10.
