Sketchubator! LIVE

After two-plus years exclusively on Zoom, Philly Sketchfest and My First Sketch are finally hosting a live and in-person sketch comedy open mic. Comedians all over Philadelphia can sign up at sketchubator.com/signup to read and perform their sketches with the help of some of the most experienced and funniest sketch writers and performers in the area. Hosted by Josh Higham of My First Sketch, Sketchubator is a chance for the city’s sketch comedians to hang out, have a drink, eat some food, and make everyone else laugh. Sketches, character bits, and monologues should be under five minutes with the hopefully unnecessary reminder that Philly Sketchfest will not condone hateful material.

Next In Line Comedy: Free F#ckin’ Comedy Show

Next In Line Comedy is a Philadelphia-based comedy collective run by comedians Manny Brown and Tyler Wolf. The group has been featured in PhillyVoice and Thrillist. This month we’ve got the dopest showcase in Philly at Tattooed Mom’s coming up on Thursday, June 23rd at 8pm and it’s Free.99!

The show gives quickly rising comedians, who are ‘next in line,’ a space to work on their acts while providing Philly audiences a chance to watch incredible stand-up comedy at a low price, in this case for FREE. Shows have featured top comics from NYC, LA, Philly, and beyond, with credits from Comedy Central, Netflix, HBO, MTV, and more!

A Temporary Summit: Comedy Album Release Party

Local comedian Che Guerrero recently released his new album A Temporary Summit on Wasted Robot Records! Celebrate his album release party with us at Tattooed Mom this December 9th from 8-11pm!

Che is a Philadelphia-based stand up comic and an American immigrant from the Dominican Republic who spent most of his life in America undocumented. His album is about his story escaping the DR, coming to America, establishing himself as a person of color in this country, and starting his own family here. It’s also hilarious.
