Reading and Signing with Jen Dary

Join us on Sunday, 3/1 at 6:30pm for a book reading and signing with @jendarywriter and to celebrate the release of her memoir I BELIEVE IN EVERYTHING.

Jen’s life was turned upside down when, at 35, she learned she had a lemon sized brain tumor. I BELIEVE IN EVERYTHING follows her wild journey in healing, humor, and unexpected magic. This book is a sincere, smart, laugh-out-loud memoir about the mysteries that shape us, the love that sustains us, and the courage it takes to believe in the impossible.

Cosmorama Holiday Hooplah

Join indie publishing/arts/media company Cosmorama for a “Holiday Hooplah” celebrating the release of Ted McLoof’s new short story collection, Empty Calories and Male Curiosity: Stories! Recently awarded a coveted Kirkus Star, McLoof’s collection leads an evening of fiction readings, holiday drinks, and literary celebration. The night will feature readings from Cosmorama’s latest titles.

Barrelhouse Issue 25 Launch Party!

Event description: Come celebrate the release of Barrelhouse Magazine’s 25th print issue. The literary journal was founded 20 years ago, in a Washington, D.C. dive bar, with a mission to publish serious work while not taking itself too seriously. Since then, Barrelhouse has won awards, hosted conferences, published books, and become a worldwide leader in the ever-growing field of Patrick Swayze studies. The event will feature a selection of authors reading work from issue 25, plus plenty of socializing and general merriment.
