Psycho Sisters: A Drag Queen Murder Mystery Party
Come out and enjoy a drag show full of fun performances, drinks, and, of course, KILLER queens. That’s right: A drag queen has been murdered and we need YOUR help to figure out who did it. At Psycho Sisters it will be up to you, the audience, to use your inner detective skills and solve this crime! Get ready to see a lot of spooky shenanigans just in time for Halloween… if you think you won’t be too scared.

Band-Maid After Concert Party
Band-Maid fans, meet Tattooed Mom! Come and join fellow Maidiacs on Wednesday, October 26th for fun, food, drinks and music after the Band-Maid show at TLA! TMoms will be playing Band Maid as well as other J-Rock, J-Metal and alternative Idol music, just for you! This WILL be a fun party and a great get together after the show!

TMom’s Halloween Exquisite Corpse Drawing Night
Come thru Tattooed Mom’s on October 27th for a Halloween-inspired Exquisite Corpse drawing event. Hosted by local artist Lindsey Gill, this event is dedicated to all you crazy kiddos out there looking to draw something spooky and collaborate as an art community at arguably one of the best bars in Philly.
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 27TH

Setup for the event starts at 5 and will go late into the night. Folks are encouraged to come early with whatever paint, pens, or markers they want to use to make a MONSTROUS doodle on a long piece of wallpaper, which will be spread out on the pool table (no spray cans or aerosols please). We’ll start gluing the piece to the wall around 10PM. Please keep in mind this IS a wheat paste style drawing, so don’t bring media that will run/fade/smudge under wheat paste glue!
Feel free to show up with stickers to share and/or a cool costume!

Spooky Poems 365
Spooky Poems 365 is titled as such because Halloween never leaves our hearts. A haunted poetry reading on the first of November. What’s scarier—ghosts, or the thought that winter is coming?
The reading takes place at Tattooed Mom’s from 6PM to 9PM. There are three featured readers, who will each read for 15 to 20 minutes. The featured readers will be followed by an open mic, hosted by Noah! Readers have 5 minutes to perform. Remember, the tone is spooky! Must be 21+ with valid ID to attend.

This event is obviously Halloween themed—but the idea came from Roberts’ most recent book, Final Girl Mythos, which is a collections of poems inspired by classic slasher movies. Roberts watched all the source movies over the summer—including watching films like Halloween and Friday the 13 th for the first time—and got really into the spooky spirit. Halloween is always with us! That is why the event is titled Spooky Poems 365.
