QueerSpace is back! Philly’s wildest LGBTQIA+ variety show returns to Tattooed Mom with the best in drag, burlesque, music, dancing &spoken word!

I’m Not Myself Today fundraiser
Plant Me Here celebrates the beginning of “I’m Not Myself Today”, a femme psycho fantasy adaptation of Anton Chekhov’s “Three Sisters” set in a greenhouse in the desert. Directed by Em Arrick, collaboratively created by the ensemble and a massive team of guest artists spanning many artistic disciplines, to be produced in the spring of 2018.
Help them make this a reality! Join in on the fun as Gracie Martin, Susanne Collins & Bailey Roper perform pieces from the production. Comedy performances by Kara Sankus, Shannon Fahey, Hannah Van Sciver, Bailey Roper, Nic Scheppard & Molly Hanulec.

Combining trans advocacy with live performance, Turn Up the Trans*mission is a variety show with no equal. Including burlesque, drag, live-singing, spoken word, and other performance styles, this varied collection of artists has a purpose. Community building and visibility are two main goals of the show, and as such, all proceeds of our show go directly to the performers.

Trans*mission aims to create a space for trans identified performers to express their art without fear of prejudice, creating awareness while breaking down barriers of bigotry. Part of the Philadelphia LGBTQ Arts Initiative, who helps to create safe spaces for sharing and observing live performance art created by trans and/or gender non-conforming artists in Philadelphia.

Vance Lehmkuhl, Philly’s own vegan columnist/cartoonist, has a multimedia presentation featuring song, video, cartooning and readings about living vegan. He’ll discuss how more and more people are becoming vegan, the challenges and opportunities of the lifestyle, and how to enjoy eating vegan in Philly.
All of this on our Meatless Monday, when all the veggie & vegan items are half-price when you eat in house!
