Philly Loves Fear: The Barn
Halloween might be on the 31st but Philly Loves Fear continues the party into November with indie horror with THE BARN, a sinister 80’s-style tribute to horror with wacky horror characters The Boogeyman, Hallowed Jack & The Candycorn Scarecrow.
Plus, they’ll be screening two shorts….CONNIE, a frustrated comedienne finds new confidence when she buys a demonic Muppets-type puppet to aid her in her performance, & FLESH, written and directed by L.C. Cruell!

Cinema Ray: The Devils
Cinema Ray brings another hard-to-find screening for your viewing pleasure! This month is Ken Russell’s 1971 historical drama horror film, The Devils.
Very loosely based on the the rise and fall of a 17th century French priest who was executed for witchcraft, this film was heavily edited (where it wasn’t outright banned) for its disturbingly violent, sexual & religious content and is hard to find in print today.
Get here early for a lucky ticket drawing for fabulous swag, followed by a mix of film shorts and oddities!

Join Cinema Ray for a screening of Rare Exports, the horrific holiday tale set in the Korvatunturi Mountains where the biggest, most evil secret about Santa exists!

DINNERMOVIE4 Premiere
#DINNERMOVIE4” is the next short film in the anthology series known as the DINNERVERSE from local creative Aleksandra Svetlichnaya. “#DINNERMOVIE4” was shot locally in the Philadelphia area, with local cast and crew. The series also includes "DINNER" and "BREAKFAST" (aka #DINNERMOVIE2). Aleksandra wrote, produced and directed all three, while also starring in them. Lertwammy’s Film Wammies: Absurdist Short Film Screening
Amidst the art & graffiti of Tattooed Mom, on June 28th, short absurdist films will be shown for all who might be craving a fresh, vital vision that the mainstream media cannot provide!
The films present bold characters who are often motivated by strange and irrepressible impulses which draw them into an enchanting dream-like world. There will be five short films by writer/director/producer Spowzer Lertwammy:
