Spring into the crafting mood this April with the migratory return of FREE Sunday Arts & Crafts: Rubber Duckies at Tattooed Mom!
Celebrate our tiny bird friends by customizing your very own rubber ducky, using all the feathers, pom poms, googly eyes, sequins, and beautifully bedazzled items you can get your hands on at our very own TMOMs Arts & Crafts craft table! FREE arts & crafts FUN for all, rubber ducky style!

Sippin’ and Stitchin’ Patch Making Workshop: April 2019
Patches have been cool as long as cool has been around, so join us for another Sippin’ and Stitchin’ Patch Workshop with Lea Saccomanno! Let us provide all of the materials & guidance needed to make your very own, customized patch while you master the basics of embroidery!
This is a ticketed event. Tickets will go on sale Wednesday, March 20th at 11am EST.
$40 per person. 21+, upstairs. 20% of all proceeds will be donated to Women Against Abuse.
Drinks are not included, but available! If you plan on eating, please enjoy your meal before or after the workshop!
Your ticket includes:
- An embroidery starter kit – a four inch hoop, practice fabric, a needle and thread (yours to keep!)
- An introduction to embroidery basics as well as two hours of “hands-on” teachin’
- Access to all materials necessary to complete your patch
- A comfy work space on the 2nd floor of Tattooed Mom (with access to the bar & our full brunch menu until 4:30pm!)

PHILLY FOR CHANGE is where local progressives meet to discuss progressive change. It’s a monthly opportunity to meet and engage candidates for local office, ask questions and get involved with grass roots activism. This month they had so many interested speakers that they’re splitting things up into TWO meetings!
Every FIRST Wednesday of the month, meet a variety of local politicians, candidates & activists. Get invested in YOUR community! All politics are local. Change starts with us!
Philly for Change is a group of reform-minded progressive Democrats. They fight for democracy, social and economic justice for all people, peace, the environment and the green economy at the city, state, and federal levels.

South Street’s favorite brothers are taking TMOMs to the Moon!
Join the Philly Moon Men at Tattooed Mom on Friday April 19th, the night of the Full Moon. Howl at the Pink-Moon in Libra with multiple views up to 100x closer—including two telescopes on the street, and two telescopes inside on Tattooed Mom’s second floor!
FREE // 21+ to come inside!
The Moon rises and sets about 50 minutes later each day. On April 19, the Moon will rise above the horizon at 8:03PM—and over the building line on South Street at about 8:45PM. So come down, grab a drink, and get some tots as we count down & party ’til the full moon rises!
Are you new to the world of the Philly Moon Men? Learn about how optics can unlock the mysteries of the Universe! See the original New York Times newspaper from the Apollo 11 moon landing! Hold a scale model of the Moon in your Earthling hands! As their telescopes were picked lovingly from our neighbors, Philly Aids Thrift, thrift-ed attire is also encouraged.
