Do you have a burning desire for knowledge that only a scientist can quench?? Well now you’re in luck!
Scientists from the 2017 American Society for Cell Biology /EMBO annual convention will be at TMoms for ONE NIGHT ONLY to answer your questions about life, the universe & everything! The purpose is for scientists to engage in conversations about science with the local public in a more organic manner, advocate for science & have fun!
You can’t miss them…they’ll be in the“I’m a scientist. Ask me about my research!” shirts, ready & excited to answer your scientific queries. They may be shy…so don’t be afraid to approach them.

Riot Nerd’s Black Christmas Craft Bazaar
Riot Nerd Presents: a very special Black Christmas Craft Bazaar! Shop for handmade holiday presents & decorations by over a dozen local vendors!
They’ll also be holding a raffle & collecting toy donations for Jane Addams Place, which is a comprehensive homeless shelter serving 29 single mothers and approximately 60 children between the ages of 0 to 18.
They’ll be collecting UNWRAPPED new toys in original packaging. Every toy donated gets a raffle ticket! You could win over $50 worth of prizes donated by us, Tattooed Mom and some of our vendors for donating toys to our drive!!

Beer and Cupcakes: a Mazzoni Center fundraiser
Stop to party, drink a adult beverages & indulge in some sinful baked goods when the Mazzoni Center‘s Care Services department hosts their annual beer and baked goods bonanza! Be sure to buy tickets to the raffle for a chance to walk away from some swag from awesome local businesses!
A portion of the nights bar sales will be donated to the client emergency fund, so every libation you consume will help provide support for Philadelphians in need! The Mazzoni Emergency Fund helps supply homeless youth with warm winter clothing & emergency basic needs items, plus coats and toys for children impacted by HIV.
Admission is free, so stop in for a beer, cocktail, or cupcake! Remember: It’s for the kids, dammit!

I’m Not Myself Today fundraiser
Plant Me Here celebrates the beginning of “I’m Not Myself Today”, a femme psycho fantasy adaptation of Anton Chekhov’s “Three Sisters” set in a greenhouse in the desert. Directed by Em Arrick, collaboratively created by the ensemble and a massive team of guest artists spanning many artistic disciplines, to be produced in the spring of 2018.
Help them make this a reality! Join in on the fun as Gracie Martin, Susanne Collins & Bailey Roper perform pieces from the production. Comedy performances by Kara Sankus, Shannon Fahey, Hannah Van Sciver, Bailey Roper, Nic Scheppard & Molly Hanulec.

The Humane League: 88% Campaign art exhibition
The Philadelphia Humane League presents 88 artworks by Philly artists Paula Meninato, Rachel Black & Mahika Gupta to honor of The Humane League’s 88% Campaign, working to improve the cruelest conditions chickens face in the food industry.
Each of the artists are vegan activists, fighting for a more compassionate world .This incredible art show features 88 pieces of art – watercolor paintings, drawings, and sculpture! All artwork is for sale, and every penny earned goes to The Humane League!
