Screwball Screenings is back with BLOOD BITCHES: An Evening of
Lesbian Vampire Cinema! We’re featuring the work of Kat Mata, a horror filmmaker with a
special interest in sapphic vampires. After literal years in post production, she’s coming out of
her coffin to share the final cut of her thesis film, Honeymoon Hotel, about a bride that meets a
mysterious stranger on her wedding night. Followed by the official Honeymoon Hotel companion
VHS mixtape, a collage of some of the best moments in the lesbian vampire genre, revenge
movies, and music videos that fueled the making of her film. Because a man’s biggest fear
should always be a bloodlusting lesbian!
