The People's State of the Union presents a community event asking the question "What's your story of PEACE for Philly?" Join your neighbors and share your stories and ideas of cultivating peace and safety within our city. Discuss past responses and future solutions to acts of violence, inequity, and bigotry while meeting others in your community. The ultimate neighborhood meet-and-greet! Create and decorate your own dove with your own story.

PUBLETTERS: letter writing station
Bring back the noble art of letter writing!
Every Tuesday this March, PUBLETTERS will be setting up a letter writing station. Everything is provided: stationery, stamps, even some loaner pens. Addresses of politicians and notable people who really need to hear from you will be on hand…or you can write to friends, family, or distant relatives.
Publetters is FREE, thanks to Yards Brewing and Trophy Bikes. Empty a glass and fill a page with your words! This week, we’ll have Yards Golden Hop IPA on the taps and Yards Brawler in bottles!
Every Tuesday in March at 6pm.
$1 all beef or veggie bean tacos (until we run out)
$2.50 Tecates all day

Join us on Pi Day for some good, ole fashioned, pie-tossing fun. There will be QC Malt specials, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Sunday Love Project, a local charity that helps feed the homeless here in Philadelphia.

Join our friends from the Humane League of Philadelphia for a $4 vegan burgers & half priced draft beers at March’s edition of the monthly Philly Vegan Drinks meet up. Philly For Change
PHILLY FOR CHANGE is where local progressives meet to discuss progressive change. It’s a monthly opportunity to meet and engage candidates for local office, ask questions and get involved with grass roots activism. This month meet local judicial candidates and hear what’s next for the Affordable Care Act.
Every FIRST Wednesday of the month, meet a variety of local politicians, candidates & activists. Get invested in YOUR community! All politics are local. Change starts with us!
