Vegan Valentine’s Mix Up – Sweets & Meet

Whether you’re looking for love or a new friend or two, this V Marks the Shop mixer is a great opportunity to connect with local vegans!

Mini pop-up with local sweets & treats, featuring Mac’n By Mari & Cake Bits with lots of goodies available for purchase. Plus, Sabr of Light Beings Healin’ Company will be offering readings (at a fee) during the mixer. So find out if that special someone is “the one” or if it’s time for you to be “single and done!”

Participate in fun mixer activities, arts & crafts, & a raffle/silent auction benefiting Woodstock Farm Sanctuary! They’ll be at the event, so show them some love as you learn about their amazing rescue work.

Every Tuesday this March, PUBLETTERS will be setting up a letter writing station.  Everything is provided: stationery, stamps, even some loaner pens.  Addresses of politicians and notable people who really need to hear from you will be on hand…or you can write to friends, family, or distant relatives.

Publetters is FREE, thanks to Yards Brewing and Trophy Bikes. Empty a glass and fill a page with your words!

Every Tuesday in March from 5-8pm…you’ll find them at a table downstairs.

$1 all beef or veggie bean tacos (until we run out)
$2.50 Tecates all day

PHILLY FOR CHANGE is where Philadelphians from all over the region meet to discuss progressive change.  It’s a monthly opportunity to meet and engage candidates for local office, ask questions and get involved with grass roots activism.

Join Philly For Change for a special Monday night gathering, rescheduled from last week’s mini snowpocalypse! Speakers include Congressional Rep. Dwight Evans, running in the 3rd district; Dan Muroff for Congress, former CeaseFirePA Board President, running in the new 5th; John Fetterman, candidate for Lt. Govenor, and Movita Johnson-Harrell, the new District Attorney’s Supervisor of Victim Services.

Change starts in your neighborhood!! March 12, 7-9pm. FREE admission! Bonus: Meatless Monday specials till 10pm.
