Brook Cofrman\, and Laura Kochman! \nDoors 7pm // Readings 7:30pm \nEnjoy this event with our Pierogi Thursday specials:\n50¢ pierogi from noon-10pm\n& half off all drafts 5-7pm and 10-11pm \nJoin the Facebook Event and invite all your pals! \n \n*** \nA former Stegner Fellow at Stanford University\, Brian Teare is the recipient of poetry fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts\, the MacDowell Colony\, the Fund for Poetry\, the Marin Headlands Center for the Arts\, and the American Antiquarian Society. He was also a 2015-17 Pew Fellow in the Arts. He’s the author of five full-length books\, The Room Where I Was Born\, Sight Map\, the Lambda-Award-winning Pleasure\, Kingsley Tufts finalist Companion Grasses\, and The Empty Form Goes All the Way to Heaven. He’s also published eight chapbooks\, including Paradise Was Typeset\, SORE EROS\, and Headlands Quadrats. In 2019\, Nightboat Books will publish Brian’s sixth book\, Doomstead Days. He’s an Associate Professor at Temple University\, and lives in South Philadelphia\, where he makes books by hand for his micropress\, Albion Books. \nJune Gehringer is the author of I Love You It Looks Like Rain (Be About It Press 2017) and I Don’t Write About Race\, the latter of which was the winner of Civil Coping Mechanisms’ 2017 Mainline contest\, an Entropy Best Poetry Book of 2018\, and debuted as the number one LGBT new release on Amazon. Brook Corfman is the author of poetry collection Luxury\, Blue Lace\, chosen by Richard Siken for the Autumn House Rising Writer Prize\, as well as the letterpress chapbook Meteorites from DoubleCross Press and the digital chapbook The Anima from GaussPDF. \nLaura Kochman is trying to write in Philadelphia. Her work is found most recently in Birdfeast\, The Wanderer\, the tiny\, inter|rupture\, Entropy\, and others. She is the author of Future Skirt (dancing girl press)\, The Bone and the Body (BatCat Press)\, and some other unstable procedures.
